Known for its hospitality and nice people, Nepal is a landlocked country in Southern Asia, between the Tibet autonomous region of China and India. Nepal has a strip of level land that is partly forested, partly cultivated. North of that is the slope of the main section of the Himilayan range,which contains eight of the world’s ten highest peaks
including Mount Everest locally known as Sagarmartha (29,029ft; 8,848m), the tallest mountain in the world, on the boarder with Tibet and Lumbini(the birth place of Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism).
Nepal has one International Airport, three proposed International airports, 34 domestic airstrips and 24,000 km of driving road.
